I don't see these crashes in the log, but I noticed there is another event in the application event log around the time it failed that I didn't mention it's logged as an information, which is why I didn't see it at first: Fehlerbucket, Typ 0 Ereignisname: CLR20r3 Antwort: Nicht verfügbar CAB-Datei-ID: 0 Problemsignatur: P1: ehexthost.exe P2. To see if my problem is the same I verified that. However in that thread a crash was mentioned that showed in the eventlog regarding media center related processes. I saw another thread describing a problem sounding exactly like mine. Any ideas what might be causing this or how I might find the source of the problem? Thanks in advance, Torsten I tried changing the folder monitoring from within the media center to the collection management app, but it doesn't seem to be related to that. I'm also using Media Control, Audio Renderer Updater and ArcSoft TMT within the Media Center.
Most of the time on the second attempt the library will then open fine.
When I alt-tab out of it and back into it in that the situation the screen will just remain black and I will have to kill all media center processes (eh*) in the task manager.

However I have one annoying problem: sometimes the media center will lock up/hang when I browse into the movies or series library (just the My Movies one, MCE's own movie section works fine). Hi, I'm using My Movies 4.0.1 on Windows 7 (Ultimate, 64 bit SP-1), and so far it is working fine.
